This convenient product allows you to easily enjoy Hiyajiru (chilled miso soup over rice), a representative local dish of Miyazaki Prefecture, right in your home. Its greatest appeal is the ease of preparation. Simply dissolve one packet in about 200cc of water, mix in thinly sliced cucumbers and lightly crumbled tofu, and authentic Hiyajiru is ready! It's the perfect dish for easily and deliciously supplementing nutrition during the summer when your appetite tends to decline.
This Hiyajiru base is packed with the rich flavor of miso and the umami of fish. Furthermore, the use of Miyazaki-grown dried daikon radish adds a gentle sweetness and a pleasant texture. Of course, it is made without preservatives or chemical seasonings, so you can enjoy it with confidence.
The classic way to eat it is poured over freshly cooked rice, but the possibilities are endless!
