Today, we're introducing our "Sanuki Udon Noodles with Organic Wheat Flour," which pursues both safety and deliciousness.

The secret to the amazing taste and safety of these udon noodles lies in the ingredients. We use a rare organic wheat from Hokkaido. Unlike imported wheat, which may have concerns about fungicides during transport or herbicides applied before harvest, these noodles have no such worries. By choosing organically grown wheat, you also contribute to expanding Japan's organic farmlands.

Furthermore, we are committed to a production method that doesn't rely on food additives. We avoid using additives like processed starch, which are often found in conventional frozen udon, and instead, we value the natural flavor of the ingredients. We have established our own standards to avoid unnecessary additives and consider the safety of combining multiple additives, so you can confidently include them in your daily meals.

The noodles' chewy texture and strong "koshi" (firmness) are also a point of pride. To create the unique chewiness of Sanuki udon, we use a vacuum mixer to carefully remove air from the dough before kneading. For cutting the noodles, we use a machine that mimics knife-cutting, giving the noodles sharp, well-defined edges that resist falling apart even when boiled for a long time.
