Today we’re introducing the “Natto (Large Beans) Made with Specially Cultivated Soybeans” from MUSO!

This traditional-style natto is made using large soybeans grown under special cultivation in Hokkaido, Japan. These soybeans are cultivated with pesticide and chemical fertilizer use reduced to less than half of conventional standards, ensuring safety and peace of mind. Through fermentation, their natural umami is fully drawn out, and the large beans offer a firm texture and rich, slightly sweet flavor that grows with every bite.

Not only is the natto itself delicious, but the accompanying sauce is also thoughtfully crafted. Based on soy sauce, it includes mirin, sugar, bonito flakes, shiitake mushrooms, kelp, and dried sardines—blended to bring out natural umami without any additives such as amino acids, colorants, or preservatives.
