This castella is made by blending 100% Hiroshima lemons, including the peels and seeds, into the batter. It features a faint lemon aroma and a mild acidity, making it a product of careful selection of ingredients and origin.
The ingredients used are fresh eggs from Yamagata Prefecture and flour and sugar from Hokkaido. This combination provides a fluffy texture and natural sweetness. When chilled in the refrigerator, the lemon acidity and castella sweetness are enhanced, making it even more delicious.
No artificial flavors are used, allowing you to enjoy the natural taste of lemons. It is a seasonal product available from May to August, so please enjoy this special castella that can only be tasted during this time.
