Today I would like to introduce you to "Ume no Extract" from Osawa!
Osawa Ume no Extract is a concentrated fruit juice made from 100% Wakayama green ume, without using any pesticides. The pressed juice of the green ume is slowly boiled down for more than 10 hours to produce an extract with a distinctly sour taste.
This ume extract is expected to have a wide range of health benefits, from preventing tooth decay, periodontal disease, and infectious diseases to relieving abdominal pain and diarrhea, improving constipation, maintaining gastrointestinal health, improving blood flow, preventing hyperlipemia and arteriosclerosis, improving sensitivity to cold and stiff shoulders, preventing diabetes, and improving immunity.
Citric acid, a key ingredient, inhibits mutans bacteria and stimulates saliva secretion, while mumefural improves blood flow.
Ume extract can be taken as is or dissolved in hot water or tea. Because of its strong acidity, it is best to avoid taking it on an empty stomach to avoid gastrointestinal stress, and to drink it at night before bed to relieve fatigue.
