Organic Hoshi-imo!


Hello, I'm Tianbusu, the owner of Organic Market Tianbusu! I'm Tembusu from Organic Market!

Today, we would like to introduce Sokensha's "Organic Hoshi-imo"!


These easy-to-eat stick-type hoshi-imo are made from "Beniharuka" organic sweet potatoes grown in Kyoto Prefecture, which are grown in a land rich in nature. It is perfect as a snack or tea snack. It is also a good source of dietary fiber.

Dried carefully in a dryer at 70℃ for about 10 hours.

Beniharu-Ka" is a variety with a high sugar content, especially maltose, which gives it an elegant sweetness. The potatoes are spindle-shaped and have excellent uniformity.

After cooking, such as steaming or baking, the flesh is slightly powdery when freshly dug, but it becomes sticky and sweeter after storage.

The cultivation is carried out with as little human intervention as possible by attaching weed prevention sheets and other means.

After planting, weeding is managed by raising weeds only at the edges of the field, creating a green curtain to prevent damage from animals.
