Hand-picked, mortar-and-pestle ground powdered sansho!

Hello, this is Tenbusu, the organic market! This is Tembusu, the organic market!

Today, we would like to introduce our jelly made with additive-free Honkaku Flour and agar, “Hand-picked Mortar Grind Powdered Sansho”!

This powdered Sansho is made from hand-picked large grape Sansho grapes, and the dried fruits are carefully ground with a mortar and pestle. The grinding process prevents the flavor from deteriorating due to high temperatures, and the original fresh citrus aroma and bright green color of Sansho are preserved.

Characterized by its refreshing aroma and moderate spiciness, this powdered sansho adds an accent to a variety of dishes. For example, sprinkled on kabayaki, teriyaki, grilled chicken, boiled fish, mackerel simmered in miso, fried fish, and Chinese dishes, you can enjoy a different flavor.

One of our staff's favorite ways to use Sansho Shio is to make a 1:1 mixture of powdered Sansho and salt, and eat it with tempura. Also, add a small amount to yakiniku sauce to enjoy flavorful yakiniku.

Furthermore, although it may seem surprising, sprinkling it on rare cheese cake, ice cream, or chocolate will give you a different taste experience. Please give it a try!
